MAKANSUTRA TIME!

I don't know much about running and outdoor activities but when it comes to food, I am second to none. Hahaha!

So, how about a dinner gathering to celebrate the festive season?

Here is my plan. We meet up for dinner, where everyone is convenient at a "fancy"(my definition of fancy is cheap, good and got "ambient" one) restaurant unless you don't mind hawker food...I am also open to suggestions...

But right now I have a place in mind...this particular place keep flashing its advert on TV during the wee hours and I thought it might be good...it's none other than....

Reason for choosing this place:
1) Halal.
2) Price is affordable.
3) Food not bad. Tried there before.
4) After makan, can go for a drink or something.

If you guys are fine with my arrangements, please let me know by this Wednesday 12th December 2007, so that I can make the neccessary arrangement and reservation.

The Venue:
Riverside Indonesian Restaurant(Clarke Quay)

The Time:
Dinner time at the restaurant is from 1730 - 2300
So we can meet up at around 1900~1930. I will be making reservations so I need to know the number of people attending ASAP.

The Date:
19th December 2007 Wednesday(eve of Hari Raya Haji)

That's not all people! The fun does not end there!

I am including a "Haji cum X'mas cum New Year gift exchange" activity during this dinner gathering. What you need to do is every individual who is attending this dinner gathering is to buy a small gift with a minimum cost of S$10, wrap it up nicely and bring it along during the dinner gathering. Is a MUST hor! For those who never comply will have to pay for the person's dinner whom did not receive your gift! Important note on the gift. Please get something in general for guys and gals. The part on how to distribute the present leave it to me.

Hopefully everyone can make it for this dinner gathering and enjoy as much as we can...OK? I am opening invites to "outsider", meaning you can "jio" your working colleagues, cousins, outside friends etc, no limitations.(Preferably girls lah...hehe...catering needs for some potential bachelor lah...)
